2017 Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Ballots have been mailed
The Oklahoma Pharmacy Profession needs your assistance. A ballot with the names of twenty (20) pharmacists who have agreed to serve a five year term on the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy beginning July 1st, 2017 has been mailed to you. Please take a few minutes and vote for ten (10) individuals whom you believe will serve our profession with honor while advocating for the health and safety of Oklahoma citizens. It is important to vote for precisely 10 candidates, otherwise the ballot will be considered invalid. Under current OPhA bylaws, after ballots have been tabulated, a list of ten (10) individuals receiving the most votes will be sent to the Governor’s office and one (1) person will be chosen from the list of ten (10) individuals to serve a five year term as an OSBP member. The ballot is composed of two (2) nominees from each of the six OPhA districts, along with nominees chosen & submitted from four separate practice settings: Pharmacy Providers of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, Oklahoma Association of Chain Drug Stores and Oklahoma Chapter of Consultant Pharmacists.
